Do you speak, read and write another language besides English or have a friend who does? If so, the English as a Second Language office at Fayette County Public Schools is looking for interpreters and translators to assist with school meetings and some student assessments. Interpreters will be provided a contract and paid an hourly rate upon completion of a volunteer application online with the Human Resources Department.  This position is part-time and interpreters requested are based on the first language of the parents and students. Proficiency in speaking, listening, reading and writing in both English and another language are important. For example, Office 2007 standard version is $55.10, compared to approximately $400 retail.
