American Business Idol Camp

On July 7-11 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. the Bluegrass Community & Technical College will host a one-week camp for approximately 20 sixth and seventh graders-to-be to participate in an entrepreneur-based program called American Business Idol. The camp is sponsored by the Bluegrass Community & Technical College, the Partnership for Workforce Development and Junior Achievement.

The AmBizFlyer2008 outlines the ideas behind the camp, and provides additional information for students who may be interested in attending. Current 5th and 6th graders are eligible. If you would like to participate in this unique experience, fill out the American Business Idol Application and  give it to your parents to complete and send in.

The deadline for the application has been extended until May 12th, so the sooner you return it with the $40.00 fee, the better your chances of participating.
