Four JCMS Students Advance to Regional Wrestling Tournament
Congratulations to 7th Graders Eli Locker, and Clay Mertz, and 8th Graders Michael Allen, and Justin Chavez. As members of Lafayette High School Wrestling they participated in the 7th District Wrestling Tournament. All four placed in their weight class and have qualified to move on to the Kentucky State Regional Wrestling Tournament.
Cheerleaders take 3rd Runner Up at State
On Saturday, January 10, 2015 Jessie Clark Middle School Cheerleaders had an accomplishment of their own to cheer about. They received the award as the 3rd runner up at “America’s First Cheer Coaches Association State Championship. Please join us as we congratulate these girls on a job well done.
Lady Eagles Have Championship Season
Congratulations go out to the Jessie M. Clark Lady Eagles Basketball teams for their outstanding seasons this year. The B team ended the regular season undefeated with a record of 13-0 and managed to defeat EJ Hayes in the Girls B Team Championship game with a score of 39-34. At the same time the JCMS Lady Eagles A team finished their regular season with a record of 11-2 and was defeated by a single goal in the Championship game against LTMS with a final score of 31-33. This was truly a tremendous season for both of our Lady Eagles Basketball Teams.
1st annual Hoops for Hope Bowl Game– January 26

Goals are to:
1. Raise awareness for MS (multiple sclerosis)
2. Have fun and spark some friendly competition
3. Win the “Hoops for Hope” trophy.
All basketball players will be wearing a shirt the day of the game as well as any staff member interested in supporting this cause. I will be selling T-shirts ($10) through January 16th.
