Jessie Clark Middle School
If an athlete does not practice their skills on a regular basis they will lose them or they will be diminished over time. It is important that scholars also practice their skills or they will also diminish over time. Summer reading is a very important part of this practice. Summer reading is something that should be done over time not in a single sitting or two. Please help insure that your child participates in the summer reading over the 9-10 week period so they return to skill at or above the reading level they had achieved when they left for summer vacation. Below you will find the Summer Reading documents for each grade level and for students entering Lafayette High School in the fall.

We have been asked to remind parents and others not to park in the business parking lot across the street from Jessie Clark Middle School. This is a private place of business and they would appreciate our support and cooperation.
