Jessie Clark Middle School
Calling all Families! FCPS wants to hear from you about the experiences your family is having in our schools. Please take a few minutes to complete the following anonymous survey.
Lost and Found Week.
April 24-28, 2017 is Lost and Found Week at JCMS. We will have tables of found items setup in the front hallways of the building. If your child has lost a jacket, shoes or any other items please have them check to see if they are on these tables. Items not claimed will be donated to charity.
Family Literacy Night
Please join us for our fourth-annual Family Literacy Night on Thursday, April 27 from 5:30-7:00. Fun booths to promote a variety of literacy skills will be hosted by language arts, social studies, and elective teachers, as well as some community guests! Free food will be provided, and all participants will earn small prizes. Grand prize drawings will occur at the end of the night. A Book Swap will allow you to exchange one or more of your own gently used books for donated books that would be new to you. A Book Fair will have all books from the new summer reading list on sale at a discounted price. Other booths include world languages, service dogs, QR codes, project displays, and more! We hope to see all of our students and families at this event!
Spring Coat Drive
Inspired by Random Acts of Kindness week and the beautiful spring weather, we are challenging all Jessie Clark staff and students to donate their coats for a worthy deposit instead of storing them in the back of their closet! Goodwill bins will be set up in the front foyer from April 10 through April 21. If we collect 1000 coats, our school will earn a HOT Friday dressdown day. But more importantly, families in need during next season's winter weather will be able to receive warmth and love from us!
(Special thanks to Bristen Norris of the Navigator team!)

We have been asked to remind parents and others not to park in the business parking lot across the street from Jessie Clark Middle School. This is a private place of business and they would appreciate our support and cooperation.
